Internships

As part of the Miller Worley Center鈥檚 mission to prepare environmental leaders for today and the future, the Center funds students through the College鈥檚 Lynk Initiative to undertake summer internships that are concerned with environmental sustainability and justice.

The Center intends for these internship experiences to help students make connections across disciplines, across points of view and across structures to help them understand the concept of 鈥渆nvironment鈥 more broadly in their work, community and lives. The Center encourages students of all academic backgrounds to pursue internships during which they would engage in environmental sustainability and justice and further develop their environmental literacy and critical thinking skills.

All students interested in summer internship opportunities, and particularly those funded through Lynk, should visit the Career Development Center for more information. All internship opportunities will be posted in Handshake.

MWCE student leadership awards

The award is given for exemplary work related to addressing a campus sustainability challenge through a course project or independent study, or to a student or group of students who have demonstrated their commitment to campus sustainability through service and engagement with the community at large.
