Need-based Student Loans
Most financial aid packages include one or more loans. The packaged loan amount increases by approximately $1000 each year. Your total estimated student loan debt over four years will range from approximately $20,000 to approximately $28,000 depending on institutional packaging policies and whether or not you borrow the maximum loan amount per federal guidelines.
What need-based loans are you eligible for?
If you meet eligibility requirements, these loans will be offered as part of your need-based financial aid packages. No additional application is required.
Federal Direct Student Loans
U.S. students who have filed a FAFSA are eligible for these loans, which are provided by the federal government.
Mount Holyoke College Loans

What if I don't want the loans included in my financial aid package?
