Ross (they, them, theirs) is the Accommodation Coordinator for Disability Services and has been working in the office for 2 years. They graduated from Hampshire College with a B.A. that focused on philosophies and design methods of education, work, and community. Within their role as Accommodation Coordinator, Ross conducts intake and accommodation appointments with students and assists students, faculty, and campus partners with the implementation of accommodations on campus.
Through this work, Ross aims to help all Mount Holyoke students equitably learn, engage, and thrive throughout their time at the College. Ross also supervises the Disability Services Fellows program, working with five students each academic year to support their interest(s) in disability services/support, accessibility, and positive student-body and campus cultures around and for disabilities.
Ross's work with student accessibility is rooted in transparency, student autonomy, valuing student experience and voice, and honoring small moments as genuine connections.
