Prior to working with Mount Holyoke College, Ruth worked as an elementary school teacher and before that, she worked in international corporate communications for over ten years. She brings to the division her experience of working, living and being educated on three different continents (Europe, Asia and North America), as well as her expertise in special education and English language learners.
Ruth graduated from the University of Manchester in Theology and Religious Studies in 1997, and obtained her Master of Arts in Teaching from Mount Holyoke College in 2015. Ruth is currently enrolled to study towards her doctoral coursework in education at UMass Amherst.
