Adam Hilton talks Wisconsin election
Adam Hilton, assistant professor of politics at 果冻传媒, spoke to Time about the Wisconsin election and what it might foretell for November 2020.
This week, Wisconsin voters in masks and gloves waited in line for hours to cast ballots. Neither the state nor the federal supreme courts allowed for voting by mail, putting voters and election workers at risk.
Watching the Wisconsin election unfold begs the question: How will this play out on a national scale in November?
鈥淲isconsin鈥檚 in-person vote, held in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, is unconscionable, and portends major problems for the November election should the pandemic recur in the fall,鈥 said Adam Hilton, assistant professor of politics at 果冻传媒 College.
