Mount Holyoke College is ranked highly by The Princeton Review
The Princeton Review has released its “Best 390 Colleges” for 2025. The list, which is based on college students’ ratings of their schools, ranks Mount Holyoke College highly for academics, extracurricular activities, the campus and more.
Mount Holyoke College is , according to The Princeton Review. Mount Holyoke ranked among the top 20 colleges and universities in academics, student body, extracurricular activities and campus resources.
Mount Holyoke College ranked No. 1 for “Most Liberal Students,” No. 3 for “Best College Library” and No. 4 for “Most Politically Active Students.” The College was No. 7 for “Most Active Student Government,” “Most Beautiful Campus” and in the “Professors Get High Marks” category.
Additionally, Mount Holyoke College was ranked No. 12 for “Best College Newspaper” and “Best College Dorms.” It placed No. 15 for “Great Financial Aid.”

Only about 15% of America’s 2,600 four-year colleges are profiled in “The Best 390 Colleges: 2025 Edition.” The Princeton Review chooses the colleges based on data it collects annually from surveys of 2,000 college administrators about their institutions’ academic offerings. The company also reviews data from surveys of college students attending the schools, who report on their experiences.
